To coincide with the release of the preliminary program later this week, the early-bird registration deadline has been extended to give delegates the chance to view the full program before registering.

The extended early-bird registration will close on Friday 10 May 2013.

Master Class

Bookings are now open for our two Keynote Speaker Master Classes. Bookings can be made as part of the online registration process.

Please note each Master Class is limited to 20 participants.

As part of the 2013 conference a workshop on the findings of a large Office of Learning and Teaching (OLT) project matching student expectations and experiences with academic outcomes across the three universities in South Australia is being presented by Dr Sharron King; Dr Ann Luzeckyj and Dr Ben McCann

Myth-busting: Exploring assumptions about the first year at university and how it can differ from reality

Welcome to the First Year in Higher Education (FYHE) virtual centre for researchers and practitioners.

This site brings together the International First Year in Higher Education Conference and The International Journal of the First Year in Higher Education and a suite of FYHE resources. It provides access to an extensive collection of materials under the ‘Transitions Pedagogy’ banner and access to other research projects and deliverables, reusable resources and communities of practice all of which are focused on enhancing the experiences of students during their first year in higher education.
