FYHE Peer Programs Special Interest Group

Establishing an institutional approach to peer programs

This Peer Programs Special Interest Group provides an opportunity for participants to connect and collaborate in exploring the key questions: Should there be an institutional approach to peer programs? And if so, what might this look like?  The aim of the Special Interest Group is to share ideas, experiences and work collaboratively to explore models, strategies and/or approaches to implementing a ‘whole of institution’ approach to peer programs.

This online Group emerged from the 2012 International First Year in Higher Education Conference (July, Brisbane, Australia) and is facilitated by Melissa Zaccagnini from the University of Wollongong and Victoria Menzies from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT).

Upcoming Group activities include  a FYHE Peer Programs Special Interest Group forum to be facilitated by QUT in February 2013.

More information about the FYHE Peer Programs Special Interest Group can be found on their website.
